How to read the ancient Greek timeline
An ancient timeline of the world is on display at the museum in Athens.
The exhibit is dedicated to the Greeks and their achievements, and features maps, images, chronicles and inscriptions from the ancient world.
This is the first time the Greek city of Sparta has been displayed in the museum, the museum director Ilias Tsiolakos told CNN.
The timeline has been curated by Professor Ioannis Voutsis, the curator of Greek studies at Athens University, and is the brainchild of Dr. Ilias Voutsi.
The project was conceived in 2014, after the publication of a book, “The History of Greece,” by historian and Athens native Ioannis Tsiolaksos.
The book, published in 2010, was based on a series of articles in the ancient Athenian daily “Vesperae.”
The articles were written by a Greek historian who studied with Tsiolakis.
Tsiolakis says his research on ancient Greek history started after a long period of studying ancient documents, such as the “Mosaic of Apollo,” a 12th century Greek chronicle.
Tsoltis is also the author of two books, “Socrates on Politics” and “The Great War.”
