Ancient Greeks armor discovered in Turkey
Archaeologists have uncovered a gold and silver armor of an ancient Greek warrior that is said to have been worn by the Greek ruler Demeter.
In recent years, archaeologists have uncovered numerous ancient items in the Balkans, including a bronze statue of Demeter that was carved out of a tree in the ancient city of Mytilene.
Archaeologists also uncovered a bronze and gold statue of Zeus, the god of agriculture and war.
The Greek warrior, known as the Cyclops, was thought to have fought alongside Demeter during the Trojan War.
A total of 5,400 people were killed in the war, and Demeter was the only one to survive.
